The Arch of Arts in Health international conference – call for virtual papers and presentations

The Arch of Arts in Health International Conference will take place from March 17-19 2013 in Haifa, Israel. The conference organisers, The Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, welcome the submission of virtual papers and presentations which explore the following conference themes:

• An Overview of the Field of Arts and Health: Healing Environments, Patient Care, Caring For Caregivers, Community Wellbeing, Education
• Arts and Wellness Across the Span of a Lifetime: Pediatrics to Older Adults
• Using the Arts to Address Stress and Trauma in Community
• Challenges and Opportunities in Practice, Research, Training, and Job Development in the Arts and Healthcare: Clinical Training, Creative Arts Therapies, Medical Education

The deadline for submission of papers is 15 December 2012.

Virtual papers and presentations accepted for the conference will be published in the print programme and linked to the conference website prior to the conference launch. The link to the virtual presentations will remain online on the conference website as a resource for scholars and practitioners until August 2014. Thereafter, a link to the presentations will be available on the website of Lesley University, Cambridge, MA, co-sponsor of the conference.
