Whisper and Beyond is an exhibition by Sinead Dinneen relating to personal perceptions and experience of living with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. The work stems from an arts and health collaboration with the School of Nursing and Human Sciences, Dublin City University. Whisper and Beyond will be shown at Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise from 21 February to 31 March 2019.

Date: Thursday 21 February at 7pm
Complimentary refreshments will be served on the evening.
Associated workshops will be run throughout the course of the exhibition with clients of The Cuisle Centre (cancer support centre in Portlaoise) by the ‘Kicking the Bucket’ team: Sinead Dinneen, Katie Verling and Pat Wallis. These workshops will use the arts to share stories and experiences of illness in a compassionate and understanding way, to help support a stronger sense of control, identity and change.
