Age & Opportunity is currently accepting applications for the position of Arts Programme Administrator. Candidates should have a minimum of one to two years’ administration experience in an arts-related field, a knowledge of Ireland’s arts and culture environment, policies and structures, and a relevant third level qualification in an arts-related field.

Age & Opportunity is is the leading national development organisation improving the quality of life of people aged 50 – 100+. Age & Opportunity Arts is a dedicated arts and culture programme running throughout the year in local communities around Ireland. Creative initiatives include the annual Bealtaine Festival which takes place throughout the month of May, Cultural Companions which creates local networks of like-minded people interested in arts and culture who will accompany each other to cultural events, and the artist in residence in care settings programme.

Job description

The Arts Programme Administrator is a part-time position, over a five-day week, with a salary of €28,000 pro rata, and a one year specified purpose contract initially.
