The Arts & Health Hub is a network for artists and cultural producers interested or working in the field of arts and health. Established by London-based artist Daniel Regan, the Hub has over 400 members. An online community is hosted using Slack, where artists across the UK and globally can join to access the network and resources that are shared.
Artists are supported through online and in-person events that range from peer-to-peer support groups to professional development workshops and social events. The online platform is a place to connect with other artists, share works and challenges, discover resources, or just check-in with others in the sector.
Registration
The Arts & Health Hub is a free network. Once you’re registered, you will be invited to join the online Slack community.

Online events
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Hub is hosting regular online events. Upcoming events include ‘What’s Your Worth?’ on 26 August, a collaborative conversation with Hub member Deborah Porter exploring our professional and personal worth as artists. How much should you be charging for your work? How do we know if we’re under or overcharging? How do we ask for more when we’re offered less? The event will begin with a creative activity by Deborah, followed by peer to peer support through breakout rooms.
COVID-19 Artist Impact Report
The Arts & Health Hub released its COVID Impact Report in July examining how the pandemic has affected artists in the arts & health sector. Based on survey findings, the report looks at the economic impact, the main concerns for artists working in this field and the type of supports that practitioners would like to see in the future from the sector.
