Helium Arts, the national children’s arts and health charity, is seeking to employ two multi-disciplinary visual artists (one in Galway, one in Cork) to join their Creative Health Programme. Candidates must have a strong collaborative and inclusive arts practice working with children and young people. 

The ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of arts and health practice, possess strong administration and relationship building skills, and have the ability to produce an annual, high quality, collaborative artwork. Training and continued professional development will be provided throughout employment, with up to four required training days to take place in early 2021.

Galway Role 
This position is part-time, 28 hours a week, for 2-3 years, working across outpatients and in community settings, based in Galway City, due to begin in April 2021.

Cork Role
This position is part-time, 28 hours a week, for one year, working across outpatients and in community settings, based in Cork City, due to begin in 2021.

Deadline for applications
The closing date for receipt of applications is Thursday 5 November at 5pm.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview and to attend an interactive workshop.
