Creative Enquiry Arts and Older People was an investigative collaborative venture that creatively explored fresh approaches to arts engagement with older people and advanced best practice models. The Arts Office of Cork City Council is now seeking project management services for the Creative Enquiry – Continuation Phase.
The Creative Enquiry was supported by the Arts Council ‘Invitation to Collaboration’ (Project Implementation Phase). The focus was three artist-residency and older-people-engagement projects hosted by three organisations: Cork Midsummer Festival, Music Alive and Sirius Arts Centre, with the support of strategic partners Cork City and County Councils, Age & Opportunity and the HSE.
One outcome of the Implementation Phase of the Creative Enquiry initiative was a publication which brought together findings from the artist residencies which took place in diverse settings over a 12-month period during 2019.
The Creative Enquiry Partnership (CEP) now propose to disseminate learning further at this critical time for older people impacted by Covid-19 supported by the Arts Council Invitation to Collaboration Continuation Phase.
For the Continuation Phase, the CEP seeks Project Management, Research and PR services.
The objectives of this phase of the Creative Enquiry are as follows:
