Helium Arts, the national children’s arts and health organisation, is seeking to employ a professional, multi-disciplinary visual artist to join their Creative Health Programme. Candidates must have a strong collaborative and inclusive arts practice working with children and young people.

This position, based in Galway City, is part-time, 28 hours a week, for 18 months, working across outpatients and in community settings. The role is due to begin on 1 December 2021 for induction and training with workshop facilitation with children beginning in the New Year.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of arts and health practice, possess strong administration and relationship building skills, and have the ability to produce an annual, high quality, collaborative artwork. Training and continued professional development will be provided throughout employment.

Deadline for applications
The closing date for receipt of applications is Thursday 11 November, at 5pm. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview the following week.
