Speed Meeting for Slow Art: Matchmaking initiative for older person organisations and artists in Clare 

Speed Meeting for Slow Art is a matchmaking initiative by Age & Opportunity, providing creative networking for artists and organisations who work with older people.

As part of the initiative, Clare Arts Office is facilitating a meeting between older persons services and local professional artists, where they can chat about creative ideas and see if there is potential to work together in the future.

Aims

• To increase the potential for older person organisations / care settings to engage with and collaborate with a professional artist
• Potential work opportunities for professional artists (both older artists and those who work with older people)
• To increase the pool and diversity of professional artists working in the community sphere
• Information and signposting – funding etc.
