Collaborators on the Lancet Global Series — health benefits of the arts on non-communicable diseases — at Creative Brain Week 2024

A pioneering initiative from the Global Brain Health Institute, Creative Brain Week at Trinity College Dublin enters its fourth year of celebrating innovation at the intersection of arts and brain science. Taking place from 9-13 June 2025, this year’s theme is “Activating Kindness.”

Creative Brain Week explores and promotes the relationships between creativity and the brain in areas including social development, technology, the arts, entrepreneurship, brain health and physical health.

Featuring exhibitions and talks by scientists, artists, and innovators, this year’s event takes place across the digital and physical campus of Trinity College Dublin:

  • Launch Evening: A welcome event bringing everyone up to date on the activity inspired by and developing from last year’s event. Groups from Egypt, Botswana, India, Australia, Singapore, and Argentina will share project updates.
  • Presentations: Thought-provoking talks exploring “Activating Kindness” through a multidisciplinary lens.
  • Creative Brain Week “Threads”: Dynamic small-group sessions where experts and practitioners collaborate on real-world applications of neuroscience and creativity.
