Art Centre, St Luke’s Hospital

St Luke’s Hospital in Rathgar, Dublin, has been caring for cancer patients from all over Ireland since 1954. The hospital is part of the St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network which also includes Radiation Oncology Units in St. James’s and Beaumont Hospitals.

Mission / Aims

• To develop and maintain the arts programme for St Luke’s Hospital
• The Arts Coordinator works with staff in all areas to identify needs and opportunities for using the arts to enhance the hospital environment and the patient and staff experience.

Areas of activities

Acitivities include music events, poetry readings, film screenings, children’s art cart, family days and talks on artists’ work in the hospital art collection.
